This policy explains what information Med-Help (med-help.net) collects when you visit the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@med-help.net.
What we collect
- Usage data through Google Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, time on page, browser and device type, referring website, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Hostinger, records standard technical information for each request, including IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs support security and site operation.
- Email you send us. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Med-Help does not offer user accounts or comments, and it does not ask for your health information. Please do not send personal health details by email.
How we use information
We use analytics data to see which topics are useful and to improve the site. We use server logs to keep the site running and secure. We use email only to reply to you and to fix errors you report.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it to target advertising.
Third parties
Google processes analytics data under its own terms. See the Google Privacy Policy. Hostinger hosts the site and processes server data under its own terms.
Pages on Med-Help link to outside sources such as the NHS and MedlinePlus. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not cover them.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
- You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to stop Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits.
- You can ask us to delete an email you sent by writing to info@med-help.net.
Retention
Analytics data is kept according to the retention setting in our Google Analytics account. Emails are kept only as long as needed to respond or to track a correction.
Children
Med-Help is written for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
