SCIP is a highly acclaimed guide for retirees and older adults to Manitoba, Canada and world-wide information and services. It includes information supplied by local information providers and pointers to sites of interest to seniors on the World Wide Web. SCIP is a project of Creative Retirement Manitoba. Some of the topics covered in the Manitoba Senior Citizens Handbook include Information services, healthy living, coping with death, and employment and volunteer opportunities.

Population in Aging Research Center (PARC)
PARC, established in 1994 with a grant from the National Institute on Aging , fosters research on the demography and economics of health and aging among Research Associates of the University of Pennsylvanias Population Studies Center and the wider University of Pennsylvania community. Research themes emphasized at present include intergenerational exchanges associated with population aging, aging in disadvantaged populations, and medical demography. PARC sponsors a monthly seminar series and an on-line working paper series accessible over the Internet.

Family Caregiver Alliance
The Family Caregiver Alliance is a a nonprofit organization based in San Francisco. This site provides specialized information on Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, ALS and other disorders and long-term care concerns for the elderly. Fact Sheets, reading lists, support groups, news publications, and research findings, are among the many links to educational resources found at this website.
